purple plankton

purple's my color.

plankton are the fireflies of the sea. you turn off your light, wave your hand around and ou'll see the plankton give off their bioluminisence. it's like making fireflies come out of your fingertips.

it's amazing how plentiful purple lifeforms are in the sea. purple isn't a color one would normally see on the surface but purple abounds everywhere in the ocean -- fish, coral, starfish, nudibranch.

i'd much rather be there in my purple world anytime.
